The south canadian river road run will be the first saturday in May if anyone is interested. For those who haven't been it is about a 300 mile ride starting in Vici, oklahoma with breakfast and ends up a Roman Nose state park for the evening steak supper with stops along the way at Taloga, Seiling, Foss lake and Canton.

Its Western Oklahoma River Road Run May 8th 2010 second saturday of May ever year and its 240 miles long. I've done in the past , its a good ride. Really nice folks put it on and saw one face I kinda knew. (Scott & now wife) If you want a good ride and see some nice country, then I would say go. You get 3 meals for the price. Guymon has a poker run same weekend but only 1 meal (5 State Run) and its unpredictable weather but fun and a 300 mile ride. Also frendly people. Later You all

Registration begins 7:30 am at the Vici Fire Station Pancake Breakfast is 8:00 am to 10:00 am First Bike Out at 9:00 am Last Bike Out at 10:00 am Lunch at Foss Lake Ride Ends at Roman Nose State Park Receive Last Poker Card Steak Dinner Awards Joni and I will be in Kansas for Mothers day weekend so we won't be able to make it. -Scott |

gather at GG house at 8:30 in Taloga also, and go from there!!!!!!!!! Any one wanting to come in on Friday eve is welcome at my casa, may even BBQ a steak or two!!! Bandit, it would be great to see ya!!

The weather is to be nice this saturday, 70 with 10 mph winds. Friday is windy
May 7 Friday
Windy with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 40s.
May 8 Saturday
Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the high 60s light winds and lows in the low 50s.
May 9 Sunday
A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 50s.

Did anyone say that this was the last year for the River Road Run ? A friend said that a Watonga someone was telling that this was the last year for it. That another one (different one) starting 2011 was going to be at Woodward,OK.

Nope, not the last one, in fact it is going to be bigger next year. have some large changes planned and I look forward to it and anyone whom wants to spen the second saturday in may in the Nw part of Oklahoma is welcome to make this a Valk event!!!
