Thanks for thinking about us!
There was a lot of damage in the town of Tecumseh, but we live about 5 miles out in the boonies.  Our house is built into the side of a hill and is considered "earth sheltered".  We can step up onto the roof on two sides.  Our safe room is accessed via a door from the kitchen and is fully underground because it is built further into the hill than the rest of the house.  We figured that is we were going to live in a place like th is, we might as well be ready for the worst!
We lost about a 150 year old oak tree on the top of our highest hill but no damage to the house or shop. (Where the scooters are!)  Grin
