Well a few weeks back our ceiling fan smoked in the bedroom...
What an awful smell to wake up with..On such a special day..  Wink

So we thought we would take a ride to Claypool Hill and look at a few fans .

As ya'll knew it was a special day on Nov 1~  29th Annis.    Kiss....
OK back to the story... So after a  little us time ,we headed out to Lowe's... We saw one but not really to our liking... So will wait and see what comes in...

Of course we are on the bikes...So we see rt 610 is right there and the weather couldn't be any better.. Yuppers you guessed it we had to ride it...
Heck there isn't a bad road in our area...

It starts out as a nice paved road..That was very short lived..

And with out warning she turns to dirt.. It was a little wash boarded in spots. That sure makes it hard on my bike...And bad for photo taking.. Undecided

I hollered to HB over the CB that I'm going to stop and take a pix of the cool view..

Here's the shot I took .. I always look at that mountain from US460 .
It always reminds me of a dormant relief valve..(volcano)

Then we came upon this red barn and cow.. 610 is also called "Indian Paint Road". It was big doings for that cow that day..:huh

It was a real nice fall day ride on dirt..

Then the road got really narrow and rutty right after this rise..
Well yeah ya going down hill,But wow the ruts sure were deep!

This old bridge was cool..

I bet there are some nice trout in this creek

The road opened up to another valley...Cool...

Then pavement and rt 91...

Then we headed toward rt16..

The land opened up again to wide open spaces

They still had some leaf colour on the slopes over here..

Back home .. And it ended with another cool SouthWestern Va.Sunset.

Oops I almost forgot .. This is what we had for Supper...
Yuppers a good ride with my riding mate a fine supper ..
It just don't get any better then that..

Till next time...
