OK, here's the deal…
Scott and I have emailed back and forth to get this finalized and it is now official, I'll be the one planning the next Robbers Cave outing.  Roll Eyes
You'll notice I didn't call it a ride or a meeting or a gathering or anything…YET.
That is because right now I don't know how the "event" will be organized yet.
Don't know the dates yet. Huh
Don't know if it will be an out and back or an overnight. Huh
Don't know if there will be catering. Huh
Don't know if there will be mass rides or several small routes. Huh
Don't know if there will be camp fires or air conditioning.  Huh
One thing I do know already, I will let everyone know exactly what I am up to as I finalize the plans.

For starters, let's all start thinking about the best time for the trip. When that is set we can move on to the real planning.
Check your calendars and pick out your favorite/available times to ride. Post your selected times and times you absolutely can't/won't make the trip. (We know that InZane is the end of July this year, so that is out.)

That's about it for now, so let's get those dates posted and get this thing going!
Is it time to go yet?

Initial planning for the Robbers Cave trip is officially under way.  The tentative date for the trip is the third weekend in May. Arrival day is Friday the 20th, riding and exploring day is Saturday the 21st and departure for home on Sunday around "Brunch time".  We may change the dates, but the general structure of Friday to Sunday will remain constant.
We will use the State Park as "ground zero" so we can accommodate campers and "motel campers" both. That's all for now, I'll get a signup started as the time gets a little closer.  I have three people so far that have committed!
