Surely you aren't talking about the redneck 'Smittymobile" are ya?  Why that thing couldn't get out of its own way.

Actually, it is one sweet Valk. You'd have to see it in person to really appreciated it tho! Sure wish you could go with us bro, its gonna be fun!

I'm going early and staying late!

Bill,

What I want to know is how you put 92k on that Shadow?  My buddy had one and I couldn't stand to ride that thing to the store and back.  But then again I'm a bit spoiled after riding the Valk. Smiley

My 2000 is third hand and I acquired the beast in July of 2002 with 10,636 miles on the ticker.  It now has a tad over 16,000.  Here for a “long” ride we go all the way around half the island, all of some 108 mile.  That’s with pull offs for lookie lookie and lunch.  Map book has the coastline at 112 miles, city and county.

Well you should know where every pothole in the county is by now.

Glad to meet you here on the board. I live way up north of Oklahoma in Kansas. It is awful nice of these Okies to let us foreigners post on the Okie board.

Aloha Braddah Ray,
Well I started school in Oklahoma and I finished in Oklahoma. I was trying to find some 1956 types from Poteau but no luck yet.
Here local kine hwy road paving is with a 1944 mix layed one inch or less and after every rain them holes are back - city and county -  We have them Eisenhower  inter state hwy systems what does not go to the next county much less another state.  It took some 44 years to build the H3.
I had a nice ride in 1965 from Topeka to Denver in my Austin Healy 100-6, never got it to go less than 120 MPH.

Mahalo,

I just turned 10,000 miles today with an average of 2,000 miles per month since I bought new in May of this year.

The Ole Black Valk is everything that I hoped it would be plus more.

I hope everyone is doing well.
