I talked it over with the boss and she gave it a green light. I suppose we can ride 5 hours for a 2 hour ride. HAHA

We plan on coming to the city Friday evening and get a room. Anyone suggest a midpriced motel on the west side near IHOP?

I think we will also do breakfast at IHOP before the ride. Come join us if you like.

We'll be glad to have you guys.  In fact, since you are coming in friday night to OKC, I think I'll join you friday as well so I don't have to get up so EARLY! Smiley

I'll give you a call.

WOQNX,

There is a Courtyard by Mariott real near there. As you exit I-40 south on Meridian, go past the I-Hop and turn left (east) at the first light and you will see the court-yard about a quarter mile down the road. Turn left at stop sign and your there. There is a Cracker-Barrel accross the street. There website is http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage/OKCCA&WT_Ref=MI_SC

Their other info is

Courtyard Oklahoma City Airport
4301 Highline Boulevard
Oklahoma City, OK 73108
USA
Phone: 1 405-946-6500

There is also a Motel 6 at that exit but for the money the courtyard is the best bet.

Oklahoma City - Airport , OK
Motel 6
I-40 at Meridian Avenue, Exit #145
820 South Meridian Avenue
Oklahoma City, OK 73108

Phone: (405) 946-6662
Fax: (405) 946-4058

See you

See ya  next week.

He's doing great!!  He's 10 months old today.  He's growing fast.  It's a lot of fun watching him grow and learn new things.

We'll see ya next week.

Thanks for the hotel info. We will be there Friday night. Anyone wants to get a free breakfast at IHOP I know that Scott is loaded and usually very generous.

I'm gonna roll into OKC friday to meet up with Raymond/Rhonda and grab a hotel.  We're gonna make a late dinner run if anyone wants to join us.  Not sure what time but probably in the 7:30-8:00pm range.

Give me a call if you wanna join us for dinner or kick the tires afterwords.  580-772-4132

If not, we'll see you Saturday morning!

Jan and I will try to make the ride to Red Rock on Saturday. Just got home last night did 5,118 miles and had a great time. Did 10 western states and 5 national parks.
The Metzler 880's are junk started with 8/32" rear came in with 3/32" left.  Ran sidewall pressure of 42 psi the entire way.  Sad

I'll be at I-Hop at 8:30 but won't be stopping in Edmond as I previously noted.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I enjoyed meeting everyone today and had a great time. Thanks to all.

I put 458 miles on the Valk today which I enjoyed.

I'm looking forward to another ride.
