I've been wanting a trunk for my bike for awhile now for those long trips.  I decided on the Givi E52, with the E250 universal mounting bracket.  I've had it for a few months, but just got around to mounting it.  I had to replace the sissy bar with a solo bar(Viper Creations), and mounted the universal mount to the hondaline luggage rack.  So far I'm pleased with the outcome.  It comes off with the push of a button(once unlocked), and 4 bolts and the luggage rack is off for those times when I don't need it. I've also got a top rack for it that isn't installed yet.  I'll probably get the backrest pad for it as well for those rare times when I have a co-rider.

That should help on the long hauls. Do you plan to paint it to match the bike?

Remember, just because the trunk is black, doesn't mean you have a "fast black".

Looking forward to checking it out.

It has a matte black finish, and I don't think the ABS would take well to paint.  I coulda bought one with a painted finish, but I was to cheap to spend the extra dollars.  Since it won't be on the bike all the time, the matte finish will have to do.

The ole Burple two-tone has held its own so far...no need to make it fast black.

 Scott, for some reason, I missed this message until today.  Hey, I really like the look of that trunk!  Praying for good weather for this weekend and first of next week for Thor's Hammer Relay.

Scott,
Now you can carry your wallet with you on trips away from home. That means you can buy the next round! LOL
