So that was you, Jim ... I was planning to join you all today until I saw in the paper that Union Pacific's Challenger would be making an appearance in Wagoner this morning, a can't-miss event for us railfans. As I was heading up the turnpike I saw a Valkyrie headed the other way - and yes you DID look bundled up!

Looking forward to seeing everybody Sunday morning.

We are back in OKC with banner - going to leave on 4 wheels now to go meet 4 others at Chelinos in Bricktown now. If you want to meet us that is where we'll be.

The Challenger is the last of the steam locomotive giants, a 500-ton slice of history built in 1943. Seeing this monster move under its own power was worth the drive to Wagoner.
