It's 12* in Tazwell and 14* in Bastian....
And it's 16* here on the farm ...

I think this morning it was 18* here in OKC.  COLD ENOUGH!  The home office in Milwaukee was -13*.   I like to call and tease my boss up there about the riding weather here.  He hated that I rode the weekend after Christmas....and all he could do was roll back over in bed after looking out the window at a foot of snow....

Bundle up for sure.

It's definitely cold here in Oklahoma. The thermometer on my computer says 16 degrees. The best part is that we haven't yet had any snow or ice. Tomorrow the prediction is around 50. Hurray for good ole Oklahoma!

Snow all around, still not melted away but is in the upper 30's, shorts and flip flops.  Clear skies, brisk night air, (deep sniff) can you smell it?

Quick update on my son Nick - first ride on the bike yesterday after he jumped the battery. Short term initial phobia (30 seconds) and then fell comfortably back in the saddle. His leg is doing great, steel and all. Still has the pulmonary embolism (blood clot) in his lung and still on blood thinners.

I'm making a cage trip out to help him move into his new condo in Rancho Santa Margarita next week. I plan to stop off in Vegas to visit my now year and a half old grandson and to feel my soon-to-be-born grandaughter then on to So Cal with some stuff for Nick. Ordered up a few repair parts to install on his Shadow.

This morning it was -2* in the back of the house and a -4* in the front......

They say it's to be colder tomorrow...
