Plans for Robbers Cave have been slow from my end this year.  With the current economic downturn, it seems alot of folks are sticking closer to home.  Maybe thats true, or maybe it isn't...but I feel compelled to push out the Robbers Cave Rally until later this fall.  With that said, Jim and I have been talking about having a get together at his place in Chandler where we've done previous wrench parties.....

Instead of a wrench party, we would like to have more of an all day get together at his place.  Eat some burgers around 12:00 or 1:00 and just hang out.  We could take a ride if we want, or do some wrenching if we want.  No matter the schedule of events for the day, we would like to a have a get together that didn't involve a full weekend, and all the expense of hotel rooms and eating out.

What do you guys think?  Sound like a good idea?

We're thinking about doing it on a weekend in May.....

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Works for me.  Let us know when.  We are tentatively booked for a trip with a different group on the 15th -17th in Mountain Home, AR., but a different weekend would work for us.

We’ll be up for a trip to Meet and Greet any time.  Chandler is just down the road form us in Tecumseh and will take no prior planning to speak of.
I’m really looking forward to meeting the crew.

Sounds good to me.....

Maybe we could do the Robbers Cave Event every other year Scott ? Since May is filling up with events anymore...
(it is too cool of an event to stop completely though)

On our way up to Stovepipe’s house to change out our modified exhaust pipes for a stock set, Karen and I went through Chandler.  We both were struck by the quant atmosphere of the town.  It reminded us both of the artisan town of Taos NM. There were several bookstores and other shops we want to visit when we have a chance.
We were there on a really cold Sunday morning and there were already several motorcycles gathering on Main Street.
We both think it will be a great place for a spring meeting! Cool
