The last one pre-dates my Valk ownership so I don't know anything about them…but I’m READY TO RIDE!  I'm going to be unavailable until Mid March due to our daughter's wedding down in the Bahamas.  (Tough duty, but someone has to do it.)  Cheesy After that I will be glad to assist in any way I can to make the trip happen.   Cool

Been looking at some dates, but its unlikely we can get an open weekend(at Robbers Cave Lodge) before June, and I'm not real available during June.  Maybe this fall?

I'll let you all know something.

Autumn on Talimena is always a good time.  The weather is usually more predictable than in the spring.  The downside is the photographers taking pictures of the leaf change can make traffic a bit heavy, but that can happen at anytime.

I like the idea because I hope to be settled in by then and able to make it back to Oklahoma for the event.  With the new job, I doubt I could make it for spring.

Ok, so if we did this in the fall.  What timeframe would be good.  I want it late enough that its not hot as hades, but don't want to fall into that "its too cold to ride" range either.  Its never too cold for me, but I don't want to exclude anyone because its cold.

Late October?
